STAGE 2 · RETARGET PROOF
KAGE — REAL MOCAP RETARGET PROOF
Real humanoid martial-arts mocap (CMU Graphics Lab, free) retargeted onto the existing AUTO-RIG KAGE 22-bone skeleton. Rotation-only channels · no scale · no root translation · KAGE proportions preserved by construction. This tests whether the AUTO-RIG correctly accepts professional humanoid combat animations.

WHAT THIS PROVES
- The AUTO-RIG KAGE skeleton accepts real professional humanoid mocap.
- Bone topology + naming correctly map to a standard humanoid (CMU/Mixamo).
- Proportions preserved — no bone scaling, no limb-length changes.
- Body mechanics (hips, shoulders, spine, planted foot, weight transfer) come from the mocap, not hand-authored.
HONEST CAVEATS
- Root translation is dropped — KAGE plays in place (no sliding).
- Rest-pose offset is handled by KAGE_rest × BVH_delta; if a local axis mismatch appears, report it (do not fake).
- If any clip deforms badly, that indicates a rig deficiency — report it, do not hide it.
